According to results from the 2024–2025 agricultural season (July–June), Russia has once again confirmed its position as the world’s leading wheat exporter.

Export Highlights:

  • 54.4 million tons of grain exported in total
  • Of which 44 million tons was wheat — one of the best results in history

Export Geography:

  • Russian grain was shipped to 108 countries
  • 70 countries imported Russian wheat
  • 11 new countries joined the buyer list this season
  • 7 countries resumed wheat imports

🌟 Top Importers of Russian Grain:

  1. Egypt 🇪🇬 - 9.5 million tons (+1 million)
  2. Turkey 🇹🇷 - 4.7 million tons (–4 million)
  3. Iran 🇮🇷 - 3.9 million tons
  4. Other stable markets include Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Algeria, and Yemen.

📈 Increased Shipments (by +0.5 to +1 million tons):

  • 🇲🇦 Morocco
  • 🇱🇰 Sri Lanka
  • 🇳🇬 Nigeria

📉 Decreased Shipments:

  • 🇵🇰 Pakistan — down by 2.1 million tons
  • 🇹🇷 Turkey — down by 4 million tons

Outlook for 2025–2026 Season:

  • Total grain harvest: ~135 million tons
  • Wheat harvest forecast: 88–90 million tons
  • Export potential: 54–58 million tons of grain
  • Including 43–44 million tons of wheat

The spring planting campaign was completed successfully, and Russia is set to retain its leadership on the global wheat market in the upcoming season.
